# Mistral 把 Large 4 开源了，却留下了唯一能赚钱的那种用法。

**一句话判断：** Mistral 将 Large 4 开源，但对其部署服务保留了付费许可。

Mistral Large 4 的权重于 10 月 29 日免费登陆 Hugging Face，采用一份新的 Ecosystem Open-Weight 许可，也就是改过的 MIT。下载、微调、装进自己的产品，全都免费。只有一个例外：想把它作为“模型即服务”（Model-as-a-Service）来运营，就得另外向 Mistral 买一份付费许可。

要看那条例外，别看标题。“开源”交出的是权重，却把唯一能规模化变现的用法圈了起来（也就是把模型做成 API 对外售卖），而这正是 Mistral 自己还在做的生意：每百万 token 输入 0.70 美元、输出 2.10 美元。何况，要把一个万亿参数的专家混合（MoE）模型跑起来，需要的 GPU 大多数下载它的人永远不会有。

所以价格没有消失，它只是挪了位置：从权重身上，挪到了“提供服务的权利”上。对一个自建托管、只服务自己产品的个人开发者来说，这是实打实的礼物：前沿能力，真正免费，那条服务条款永远碰不到你。而对想转手售卖它的人，收费关卡只是往下挪了一层。

当一样强大的东西突然变“免费”，去找那条把唯一能印钞的用法圈起来的条款。资产还在那里。如果 Mistral 以后取消这条服务限制、改用纯 MIT，这个判断就错了，所以盯着代码库上的许可看。
